New York, New York June 2022: Start-up company My Friend The Sea is debuting their innovative home halogenerator, Salt Stone on Indiegogo. This breakthrough product has been in development for two years and is the first consumer- focused halogenerator for Dry Salt Therapy, designed to elegantly fit and function in a home or office environment, for personalized respiratory cleansing and relief.
Halogenerators are devices used in spas and active salt rooms to fill the air with microscopic particles of breathable, pharmaceutical grade salt. The Salt Stone personalizes this experience so everyone can benefit from the antibacterial, antiviral, toxin and pollutant-removing powers of breathing micronized salt - all in the comfort of the home or office. This device also will help people ritualize taking care of their respiratory wellness, which is all too often only achieved through an expensive spa or salt room treatment, with little to no regularity. While other salt based respiratory-relief products such as saline sprays and rinses are great for the upper respiratory system, dry salt therapy is needed to clear and cleanse the lower respiratory system.
Dry Salt Therapy, also known as Halotherapy, has been used as a respiratory therapy for hundreds of years. It was first discovered in ancient salt mines in Europe. It’s an all-natural and ideal complementary treatment for those with respiratory issues such as allergies, asthma and COPD. As well, it is a pro-active treatment to help ease congestion and remove the daily particles and pollutants that enter our lungs with each breath.
